Antenor Silva Jr.; Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman

Mr. Silva recently retired from a very successful career at Yamana, where he was President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Silva has more than 40 years of experience in the mining and chemical industries, having worked in various roles including executive management, operations, research and development, engineering and construction. He is known as one of the pioneers in research and development for metallurgy and engineering for mining projects in Brazil. Mr. Silva also helped to develop an innovative metallurgical process that permitted the concentration of lower grade phosphate rock into a high grade concentrate. This process has led to the highly profitable development and growth of phosphate fertilizer production in Brazil. Mr. Silva holds a B.Sc. in Mining Engineering from Universidade de Sao Paulo.

Roberto Busato Belger – President and Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Belger brings over 32 years of experience in fertilizer operations and mine management, primarily in Brazil. Mr. Belger is a mining engineer and, most recently, was Chief Operating Officer of Fosfertil Fertilizantes SA. Fosfertil is Latin America´s largest supplier of phosphate and nitrogen based inputs for fertilizer production. Mr. Belger has held various roles within the Bunge Group including the positions of CEO of Bunge´s fertilizer business in Argentina, Industrial Director, Chief Information Officer, Director of Strategic Planning, Board member of Bunge´s associate companies, Industrial Manager of Mining and Chemical Complexes and Manager of Engineering and Technology. Mr. Belger graduated from UFRGS Brazil in Mine Engineering, and completed post-graduate studies in Mineral Processing at Escola Politécnica-USP- Brazil, Information Technology at MIT in the United States, and Management Accounting at FGV- Brazil.

Anthony Cina, CA; Vice President, Finance and CFO

Mr. Cina is a chartered accountant and has practiced public accounting for the last 20 years, most recently as managing partner of a public accounting firm providing audit, tax and business advisory services. Mr. Cina’s practice focused on providing strategic planning, financing solutions and tax structure and planning opportunities to a wide array of clients, both nationally and internationally.

Stephen Burleton; Vice President, Corporate Development

Mr. Burleton has over 18 years of experience in the Canadian investment banking industry having dealt with companies in mining, industrial and consumer products. Most recently he was responsible for the agricultural sector as Managing Director with a leading Canadian boutique investment bank.

Carlos Braga; Vice President, Operations

Mr. Braga is a Mining Engineer and holds an MBA from Cornell University. He has significant experience in the Brazilian mining, fertilizer and strategy consulting sectors. Before joining MBAC, Mr. Braga worked at A.T. Kearney, managing strategic consulting projects at various industries in Latin America. Prior to that, Mr. Braga worked at a large mining and metals company with over $1.5 billion in revenues. Mr. Braga also worked for Fosfertil, managing operations in the mining and fertilizer industries.

Antônio Nagle; Vice President, Administration

Mr. Antonio Nagle has over 20 years of experience as an executive in the administrative, financial and business areas undertaken with both domestic Brazilian and foreign companies in the forestry, engineering, technology and pulp and paper sectors. His main areas of expertise: administrative and financial management (HR, IT, Legal, Controlling, Tax and Treasury) and business structuring involving administrative, financial, legal and taxation aspects. Prior to joining MBAC Fertilizer Corp., Mr. Nagle worked as the Administrative and Financial Director at Floresteca S.A. and Promon S.A., as senior consultant at Poyry Tecnologia Ltda. and managing partner at TFA Securitizadora. Mr. Nagle holds a degree in Mining Engineering from Escola Politécnica of University of São Paulo, Brazil, an MBA in Finance from IBMEC-Inst. Brasileiro de Mercado de Capitais, and a PhD in Mining Economics from École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Paris, France.
