Peter Marrone; Chairman of the Board of Directors

Mr. Marrone founded Yamana as President and Chief Executive Officer in July 2003 and was appointed Chairman of Yamana in May 2007. Mr. Marrone has more than 25 years of business and capital markets experience and has been on the boards of a number of public companies and advised companies with a strong South American presence. Mr. Marrone holds a Bachelor of Laws degree. Mr. Marrone also sits on the board of Aura Minerals Inc. and the York University Foundation.

Antenor Silva Jr.; President and CEO

Mr. Silva recently retired from a very successful career at Yamana, where he was President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Silva has more than 40 years of experience in the mining and chemical industries, having worked in various roles including executive management, operations, research and development, engineering and construction. He is known as one of the pioneers in research and development for metallurgy and engineering for mining projects in Brazil. Mr. Silva also helped to develop an innovative metallurgical process that permitted the concentration of lower grade phosphate rock into a high grade concentrate. This process has led to the highly profitable development and growth of phosphate fertilizer production in Brazil. Mr. Silva holds a B.Sc. in Mining Engineering from Universidade de Sao Paulo.

Leonardo Marques da Silva, B.Sc; Director

Mr. da Silva has extensive experience in agriculture, fertilizers, sales and distribution. Mr. da Silva acquired and was responsible for the exploration and development of Itafós in 2003. Prior to joining Itafós, he was a partner and director of a medium-sized soft drink manufacturer with five plants in central and north-eastern Brazil. Prior to that, Mr. da Silva was a partner and CEO of a sand and stone producer for civil construction with headquarter in Brasilia DF.

Alexander Davidson; Director

Mr. Davidson recently retired as the Executive Vice President Exploration and Corporate Development of Barrick Gold Corporation. A geologist with over 25 years of worldwide exploration experience, his outstanding accomplishments was recognized in his receiving the A.O. Dufresne Award in 2005 and being named Prospector of the Year in 2003.

Greg Thompson; Director

Mr. Thompson is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Wellington West Capital Markets. Mr. Thompson obtained an MBA at Concordia University in Montréal in 1985, and subsequently became a research analyst at Prudential Bache Securities in the late 1980’s through 1992. Mr. Thompson also worked as a research analyst at Midland Walwyn for seven years, covering airlines, industrial products, agricultural related stocks, and special situations.

In 1998, Mr. Thompson joined Morgan Stanley where he worked as a research analyst covering life insurance and financial services stocks, as well as managing the technology investment research team and the financial services research team in New York. After four years with Morgan Stanley, Mr. Thompson returned to Canada and co-founded Wellington West Capital Markets.

Denis Arsenault, CA; Director

Mr. Arsenault was the Chief Financial Officer of Central Sun Mining Inc. (formerly Glencairn Gold Corporation) until March 26, 2009. Prior thereto, from 2001 to 2006, he was Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Orbus Pharma Inc. Mr. Arsenault has held senior financial positions in a range of sectors, including mining and resources, communications, truck trailer manufacturing and life sciences. He began his career with KPMG in 1981, later joining Maclean Hunter Ltd.’s Key Radio Limited. In 1985, he founded Wasserman Arsenault, Chartered Accountants, and in 1995 became Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Mond Industries (Trailmobile Canada Ltd.). Mr. Arsenault holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto. Mr. Arsenault is a Chartered Accountant with more than 27 years experience and has been a director of a variety of public and private companies and has sat on the Audit Committee of most of these companies. As a result, he has gained an understanding of accounting principles and the ability to analyze and evaluate the financial statements of the Resulting Issuer.
